Reliabilityis incredibly underrated in a road going performance car. I'd rather have some ~200hp Honda or Toyota than a BMW, even if the latter is faster. I've known two people who owned BMWs (an E36 M3 and a late 90s 540i), and both of those cars were money pits for them, despite being faster than my car or similar RSX/Civic/Integra. TheStelvio is about 80% as much fun, and probably the best ride in the category. Great acceleration, fantastic handling (though not as sharp as the Giulia’s, obviously,) and it sounds amazing on manual. If you throw the Stelvio on Dynamic, you’ll swear you’re driving a sports sedan. Thestelvio probably will be nicer insider than the Mazda and gti. Alfas have hand stitched Italian seats with the embroidered flag. Which I personally love and it has very good fuel efficiency. But the 2016 Macan that's nice as hell too. Very hard choice . U need both 🤣. Stelvio Horsepower 280. TheStelvio drives much better, in a completely different league. Also it has the biggest discounts rn. XC40 is in a lower category, same category as the upcoming Alfa Romeo Tonale. This category makes zero sense if you can afford a Stelvio. Havenever had a single issue with my current 2018 Stelvio QV since new nor my former 2017 Giulia QV that I owned for 4 years. Have also owned/own a flawless 4C Spider and 2 Stelvio Ti Sports. Take good care of an Alfa and it will take good care of you. TheMacan is a close second and has better build quality. The RDX is just your average compact entry level luxury SUV. I would personally go with the Stelvio because it drives fantastic. Better than many sports sedans I’ve driven, it’s that good. Alfas reliability stigma is so blown out of proportion it is absurd. Findone now with like 5k miles on it And Save $15k. Iv noticed Alfa looses a huge value in the first 1.5-2 years for absolutely no reason.
