🥇 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Eco Mode Problems
Re: Economy mode and start stop mode help. The battery may be nearing end of service life so may not be able to hold a full charge, which can be causing the economy mode to kick in more frequently. This can also be related to the Stop Start function. The Stop & Start system relies on many parameters being correct for it to operate.
Therefore, the energy saving mode will activate and deactivate automatically depends on amount of electricity contained in your battery. This way when you remove the ignition from your Citroen C4 and want to put the radio you may have the message: energy saving mode activated, entered on the console, then a few minutes later it will turn off.

The key fob button which turns the lights on, which with xenons is great quite often won't work because economy mode has already activated. There is a software update (Inforapid) which I had done on my car last year. It improved things marginally but nothing to write home about.
It doesn't make any sense. Eco mode only shuts off uneccisary electrical consumers, sidelights may be neccisary (depending on where your parked), if you notice the hazzard lights still flash but the telltale lights & noise stop inside because they are not needed.
Well my C4 has managed to lose the economy mode function. I know it was there for the first 18 months of its life then poofff. Result, 2 flat batteries through leaving the radio switched on. It's booked to see the Citroen doctor next week, and yes they said it was an impossibility until it was demonstrated to them.
The problem was that the middle row was already occupied by our own offspring, strapped into their seats and screaming at the horror of an English summer holiday. Citroën Grand C4 Picasso
Bonjour,Sur mon C4 Grand Picasso eHDI 2011, je rencontre un problème avec le mode eco (start & stop).Depuis un moment, quand je freine le moteur se coupe : R
I have a Citroen C4 Picasso 1.6HDI year 2014 with just over 16k. The engine code is DV6C automatic. A few weeks ago as I stopped on a motorway exit slip road the car went into limp mode. The instrument panel lit up light a Christmas tree saying ESP / ASR was at fault. The maximum speed was 20 miles and radiator fan continuously was running
I have problem with water condens in my car after open and look i see that the tube is outside hole in this video i not show also how put again t
I understand Economy Mode and the reasoning behind it but am intrigued as to why it is activating post radio replacement and since the cold weather in coming will the repeated activation of Economy Mode cause battery problems? I only cover 9 miles per day and am worrying about flat battery
If I have everything off and then it does stop but if I turn the fan on then the engine restarts, that to me is madness and probably means I can only use ECO mode it the temperature range of 10 to 16 degrees the only times when I can have the window open.
