5 Fresh Greek. Photo courtesy of Fresh Greek. Located just north of downtown Prague, in the hip neighborhood Dejvice, Fresh Greek is a small spot serving up some of the best gyros in town. For just $8, or around 195 CZK, you can have one of the most delicious and filling meals in town.
Ifyou can rent a car (or you can take a bus from Letnany), visit restaurant Na Pekarne (about 10 km north of Prague). That's probably the best made traditional Czech cuisine. Restaurant "U Mateje" is a traditional cuisine mixed with modern approach. Exquisite too.
Verylovely place in the very center of Prague. Food is served in an all-you-can-eat style: special Brazilian style of various meat served continually by waiters going by and offering pieces of various meat. Staff was very nice and warm. Combine it with excellent wine. It's worth trying! Date of visit: December 2016.
Brasileirorestaurants offer an "all-you-can-eat" approach and are based on quality Brazilian beef. The meat is prepared here in the churrasco-rodizio style, i.e. on a grill needle over charcoal. Just like the South American cowboys used to do. The server then cuts it right off the skewer and onto your plate until you've had enough.

Svickova Traditional Prague food! You should try svickova in Prague simply because it’s the Czech national dish. I ended up eating it twice in three nights although I’m not 100% sold. It consists of bread dumplings, braised beef, cranberry sauce, a dollop of cream and a sauce made from parsnip and other veggies.
Whenlocals go to the pub, they are planning on staying for the evening. 4. Kantýna. Kantýna, the Canteen, is not only the best butcher shop in Prague, it is the prime spot for upscale gatherings and plate sharing dinners. Located in a converted bank, Kantýna is a popular hip spot that is all about the meat.

ESKA Eska’s concept alone ticks many boxes when it comes to breakfast: it’s a restaurant, a bakery, and a specialty coffee shop, and it would probably rank high on a Prague best-of list in either of these categories (it’s one of the six Bib Gourdmand-awarded restaurants in town). It is also a place with a very young vibe, as white apron-clad, inked
Laská615/8, Prague 5. Monday to Friday from 7.30 AM to 10 PM + Saturday from 9 AM to 10 PM + Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Trdelnik. Trdelnik is a polarising dessert in Prague. It’s actually not a traditional Czech dessert, I believe its origins are in Hungary or Slovakia. And if a dessert can be touristy, it’s the Trdelnik.
